Facilities

The Elkstone Group’s horses are bred and trained at top equine facilities, including Camden Training Center in Camden, South Carolina and C-Dog Farm in Chesapeake City, Maryland.

Stuart Grant purchased Camden Training Center in 2004 and since then the facility has been home to some of horse racing’s rising stars. Centrally located on 360 picturesque acres in the South Carolina pines, Camden Training Center is accessible to all the major East Coast race tracks. Camden Training Center offers a one-mile dirt track, a 7/8 mile turf course, and a half-mile secondary track in addition to eight polo fields and 10 barns, each housing 14-32 horses.. Away from the noise and pressure of a racetrack setting, the racing industry’s finest trainers turn promising talent into winners year after year.

Breeding operations for The Elkstone Group are primarily operated out of C-Dog Farm in Chesapeake City, Maryland. C-Dog Farm is a broodmare farm with over 94 acres located in the lovely expansive horse country in the South Chesapeake City area of Maryland. C-Dog Farm has three barns with 65 stalls and 11 paddocks. C-Dog Farm has bred such contenders as graded stakes winner Edge of Reality, Mor Spirit, and Kiss the Daddy.
