For Second Year in a Row, Grant’s Race Horse Wins Filly of the Year

Stuart and Suzanne Grant seem to have a good eye for young race horses, now owning two of the very best in the world. In their 18 years since first entering the world of thoroughbred horseracing, the Greenville residents have achieved a record that is shared by few – multiple crowns in one year and now back-to-back wins for Filly of the Year.

British Idiom swept her three races last year, making her an easy pick to win the Juvenile Filly of the Year at the 2019 Eclipse Awards, the annual event to honor achievements in Thoroughbred racing.

The award caps off an outstanding year for the undefeated filly, including a stunning performance and first-place finish at last year’s prestigious Breeders Cup which made the horse three-for-three in thoroughbred events.
